Objectives

• State of the art and research work to define an improvement strategy of the coverage / QoS of new standards such as DVB-T2
• Developing signal processing algorithms (modulation, hierarchical modes ...) to improve the emission and associated simulation
• Development of a network coverage simulation tool that implements new DVB standards and takes advantage of deterministic propagation models

Innovation and strong points

• Decrease in investment for service providers for the broadcast of HD streams
• Innovative signal processing algorithm for PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio) reduction
• Study of the impact of new techniques on the network coverage and network dimensioning

Expected results

• Prototype  enabling development validation.
• Commercial results for SMEs implied in the project 
• New patent on PAPR reduction
